At the end of last year we did something we hadn’t before which was “down tools” and headed away for a couple of weeks over the holidays…we came back last week to a studio full to the brim.
It had been our intention over the last eighteen months to lessen the amount of things we have to help give us more room in the studio…
So we could tidy, organise, and have room to see the forest for the trees
But when we got back we realised that we still have hardly an inch to spare
I suppose after 40 years of making art and obsessive collecting it’s of no surprise
So here we go again, especially with the start of a new year to continue on our pursuit for clearer open space. We thought to open the studios for a giant “garage sale“ can be one way to continue to chip away at making the studios more manageable.
We still are hoarders so it’s hard parting with some of these things but it’s hard work keeping the studios ordered and cleaned with so much in them.
We will have two mega clear out sales this month…
The first one in our giant Daylesford Studio at 39 East St, Daylesford from Thursday 16 Jan to Sunday 19 Jan 10am - 5pm each day.
The second one the following week in our Windsor studio as we will be moving into a really wonderful new space soon…40 Green St, Windsor
Thursday 23 Jan to Sunday 26 Jan 10am to 5pm each day.
There will be just a huge mix of lots of different things, furniture, materials, artworks by me , experiments, series of works that haven’t been exhibited, and lots of other artists ie lots of Japanese studio art pieces, prints, ceramics, random things from long tucked away corners…

The sales will be ON SITE at both locations only 🎇🌼
HOWEVER we will be reducing online works further from Thursday 16 January.
